A-State concluded the season 19-14 overall while Tulane improved to 26-8.
Carlisa May led the Red Wolves offensively with 21 kills, while Macey Putt added 14. Elli Watkins handed out a game-high 39 assists while Kenzie Fields paced the Red Wolves defense with 17 digs.
The Red Wolves jumped out to an early 9-2 advantage when they went on a 5-0 scoring run led by Putt and Ticknor. However, the Green Wave rallied when they went on a 3-0 scoring run on attack errors by A-State.
Tulane rallied when it pulled within 11-9 on a kill by Jenna Ibieta.
