ATLANTA, Ga. (3/21/26) – Arkansas State (16-7, 3-2 SBC) capitalized with discipline at the plate late in the game to defeat Georgia State (12-12, 1-4 SBC) Saturday afternoon at GSU Baseball Complex.
A-State sounded off in the second inning, with the first two batters taking first on hit-by-pitches. Runners advanced on a ball past the catcher, then Raul Torres drove them both home with a ball into the left-center gap.
A trio of two-out walks in the fourth inning gave Arkansas State the opportunity to score, but were unable to capitalize with the bases loaded.
