FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football is hiring Chad Lunsford to be its special teams coordinator, according to a report Sunday by CBS Sports.
Lunsford, who was head coach at Georgia Southern from 2018-21, spent this past season as the special teams coordinator at Auburn. His one-year stint with the Tigers came after three seasons at Florida Atlantic, which included two games as interim head coach in 2024.
Lunsford had a 28-21 (17-14 Sun Belt) record as head coach at Georgia Southern. He was 1-1 (1-1 American) as interim head coach at FAU.
Prior to becoming Georgia Southern’s head coach in 2018, he spent five years as an assistant there.
