FAYETTEVILLE — Nine days after announcing his retirement, Arkansas men's cross country coach Chris Bucknam will coach his final race on his home course Friday.
He hopes it is not his final race as coach of the Razorbacks.
Arkansas’ men and women will host the NCAA South Region Championships at Agri Park on Friday beginning with the women’s 6,000-meter race at 9 a.m. The men’s 10,000-meter race will begin at 10 a.m.
Both races were moved ahead 90 minutes from their original start times due to an unseasonably warm forecast Friday. According to the National Weather Service, it will be sunny with a high temperature of 75 degrees in Fayetteville.
