You would be hard-pressed to find someone who loves football more than Houston Dale Nutt.
Even in retirement, the former Arkansas football coach eats, sleeps and breathes the game. He can hardly contain his excitement anytime he gets to talk ball, and his trademark passion bleeds through whether he’s praising or criticizing his beloved Razorbacks.
But the 68-year-old, currently a contented grandfather living in Northwest Arkansas, has been out of coaching since Mississippi fired him 15 years ago.
Still, like clockwork, that old itch flares up in the dog days of summer as the popping of pads and shrill of whistles fill the air.
