Hogs land longtime DT target Cameron Ball

Arkansas has landed longtime defensive line target Cameron Ball.

Ball, 6-5, 295 pounds, of East Point (Ga.) Tri-Cities, had more than 30 scholarship offers from schools such as Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Arizona State, Illinois, Michigan State, Mississippi State and others before pledging to the Razorbacks.

Coach Sam Pittman, defensive line coach Derrick LeBlanc and running backs coach Jimmy Smith headed up Ball’s recruitment. He was recruited by Pittman when he was at Georgia and by Smith while at Georgia State.

ESPN rates him a 3-star recruit, the No. 39 defensive tackle in the nation and No.
