Arkansas basketball avoided a Saturday afternoon hangover and kept the good times rolling on Saturday afternoon with an 82-58 win over Fresno State in North Little Rock.
The Razorbacks were dominant defensively from wire to wire, but started sluggishly on offense. Fresno State didn’t score until nearly five minutes into the game, but Arkansas only managed five points in the same stretch. The Hogs built their lead up to 10 points at halftime and never looked back.
Darius Acuff Jr. led all scorers with 18 points and 8 assists on an efficient 7 of 12 from the floor, with Karter Knox, DJ Wagner and Meleek Thomas also reaching double figures.
