The last time Mississippi State won an SEC game was one of the lowest moments in recent Arkansas football history.
The Razorbacks lost to the Bulldogs 7-3 during a dreadful 1-7 SEC slate in 2023, and in that defeat were held to their fewest points in a conference game since 1966. It led to offensive coordinator Dan Enos’ firing the next day.
Since that game the Bulldogs have lost 16 consecutive SEC games, including eight on the road. They nearly broke the streak with a narrow 23-21 loss at Florida in Week 8, followed by a 45-38 overtime loss to Texas in Week 9.
