Final availability report for Arkansas football vs. LSU: Impact players out for both teams

BATON ROUGE, La. — Arkansas football and LSU will both be without a key offensive player for Saturday's game at Tiger Stadium.

Tigers starting quarterback Garrett Nussmeier and Razorbacks running back Braylen Russell were listed as out on the final availability report for the game.

Nussmeier reportedly reinjured his abdomen during a practice this week. He has dealt with nagging injuries for most of the season.

LSU quarterback Michael Van Buren is in line to earn his first start with the Tigers. Van Buren played for most of the second half in last week’s 20-9 loss at Alabama after Nussmeier was benched and was 5 of 11 passing for 52 yards.
