Braylen Russell doubtful for Arkansas football at LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. — Arkansas football is expected to be without running back Braylen Russell for its game Saturday at LSU.

Russell was listed as doubtful on the SEC player availability report Friday. According to a social media post from his mother, Russell suffered a mild concussion in practice Thursday and will be unavailable.

If he does not play, redshirt junior Rodney Hill and freshman Cam Settles could be in line for carries. Mike Washington is the starter on the depth chart, followed by Russell and Hill.

Russell, a sophomore, has recorded 55 carries for 286 yards and 5 touchdowns this year.
