Boogie Fland is used to being No. 1.
In high school, he led his New York City private school to back-to-back league championships and finished his senior year in 2024 as the nation’s top-ranked point guard.
Now, as a college sophomore, he’s joined a Florida basketball squad that enters the season as the defending national champion and one of the favorites to win the 2026 national title. In true Fland fashion, the 19-year-old is considered No. 1 among all sophomore college basketball players by analyst Andy Katz.
Nearly everywhere Fland looks, he sees a reason to smile: huge success a couple of years ago and huge anticipated success in 2025-26.
