Arkansas women's basketball aims to snap 2-game skid as it hosts Jackson State

FAYETTEVILLE — The last two times the Arkansas women’s basketball team took the court, it came out flat.

In a 69-51 loss to Harvard last Sunday and a 78-63 defeat at SMU on Thursday, the Razorbacks led for a combined 7 minutes. They were forced to play catch-up in both games and ran out of steam both times.

There were two common factors in both losses: Too many turnovers and inability to finish at the rim.

Arkansas (7-3) averaged 19 turnovers and shot 36% on layups in those games, something it will be looking to clean up Sunday when it hosts Jackson State.
