Arkansas gymnast Lauren Williams was named SEC co-specialist of the week on Tuesday.
Williams, a Rogers native, scored a 9.975 to win the vault title in the Razorbacks' SEC-opening win over Auburn on Sunday at Bud Walton Arena. Her score tied four other Razorbacks for the program record in the event.
Williams leads the country with an average vault score of 9.938 after two meets. She scored a 9.900 on vault in Arkansas' season-opening loss at Minnesota on Jan. 10.
The redshirt junior missed all but one meet in 2025 after requiring surgery on a non-gymnastics injury.
