It wasn’t the way a player wants to set a milestone, but Arizona forward Jill Aguilera kept fighting and climbed into second place all-time on the Wildcats’ goal-scoring list. Aguilera scored the 30th goal of her career in the 86th minute, but it came at the end of a 4-1 loss to Washington. She needs two more goals this season to tie the record set by Mallory Miller.
The Huskies aren’t known as an offensive threat. In their 12 previous matches this season, they had scored just 12 goals. That changed Friday night as they exploded for four goals in a dominant showing.
