The Arizona Softball team won two out of three games against the Cal Golden Bears during the final weekend of Pac-12 play, earning them a spot in the NCAA tournament for the 30th consecutive year.
Other than a couple of bad innings early in game two on Friday, the Wildcats said goodbye to the Hillenbrand Stadium fans in typical Arizona fashion, with a combination of stellar pitching and powerful offense.
Arizona run-ruled Cal behind Danielle O’Toole’s pitching by scores of 8-0 on Thursday and 11-2 on Saturday. For the second week in a row, O’Toole won Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week honors.
