As part of the Pac-12 Global initiative, the Conference will send an All-Star Men’s Basketball Team to Melbourne, Australia for a series of cultural experiences and exhibition games against the Australia Men’s National Team this July.
The news came yesterday, and it was announced sophomore big man Chance Comanche, and senior guard Kadeem Allen will be on the roster competing alongside ten other student-athletes from nine other member schools.
Beyond the cultural and basketball experience for the student-athletes, the game will essentially serve as an opportunity for the Australian National team to prepare for the upcoming 2016 Rio Games.
