It’s been a pretty successful year for Arizona Baseball, despite it perhaps being built up to be average at best, prior to the season starting. In head coach Jay Johnson’s first year with the Wildcats, he has done a masterful job coaching the team beyond its potential.
Following the series loss to rival ASU last weekend, Arizona still sits at 32-18 (15-12) on the season. At third place in the Pac-12, the Wildcats still remain in great position for a potential playoff berth in the regionals next month.
Despite the loss, the Wildcats saw record attendance numbers last weekend at Hi-Corbett Field.
