Bobby Hurley and his staff have signed up for a home-and-home series with SMU that will get started in Tempe on Friday, Nov. 13.
The American Athletic Conference member has averaged more than 22 wins the past seven seasons. SMU is coming off a 19-win season that included three All-AAC performers and led the AAC in scoring (72.9), field goal percentage (.451), free-throw percentage (.762), assists (15.6) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.2).
"SMU will be an outstanding early season test and we look forward to returning the trip to Dallas the following season," notes Sun Devil head coach Bobby Hurley, who will enter his sixth season at ASU in 2020-21.
