There’s not many better ways to open up a season than Arizona State volleyball’s (1-0) win over No. 10 Washington. The Sun Devils swept the Huskies in Seattle 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 28-26).
Freshman Marta Levinska led the way with 18 kills including the final blow to secure the game. Fellow freshman Ella Snyder added a double-double with her 36 assists and 11 digs. She also had two kills. Sophomore Iman Isanovic had 12 kills and 11 digs.
The first game saw Washington race out to a 14-8 lead early on. A 6-0 run helped the Sun Devils take the lead and they ran with it from there.
