The regular season may have ended but that doesn't mean things are slowing down in the Arizona State football program. In fact, things are speeding up. There is no offseason in college football anymore.

So while the fan base may still have been basking in the glow of Saturday's 24-14 win over rival Arizona, coach Herm Edwards was already looking toward next season, announcing Sunday he was parting ways with three coaches, including offensive coordinator Rob Likens.

While the formal hurdles haven't been cleared in the human-resources department, one appointment looks to be complete with Prentice Gill joining the staff in a position yet to be determined.
