The Arizona State Sun Devil fan base has started a rivalry with the Utah Utes faithful over the past few years. Now it appears the two schools are also battling on the recruiting trail. Utah and Arizona State made the top six for Salt Lake City native Jeffery Bassa. He also included Oregon, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Louisville.
247Sports and Rivals each rate Bassa as a three-star safety. 247Sports ranks him as 1224th best player in the nation, 102nd best at the position and ninth best player in the state of Utah. 247Sports has no current expert prediction for Bassa, while Rivals lists Oregon as the favorite.
