The Arizona State football team will wear a special "selfless" uniform sometime during the 2019 college football season.
The uniform was part of a series of uniforms released by Adidas on Monday.
ASU's uniform is white, with maroon numbering and stripes and is made of Adidas’ sustainable Econyl Yarn.
The uniforms showcase ASU's efforts toward a sustainable future.
The team has not announced when it will wear the uniform this season.
ASU will also wear cleats made with recycled materials with the uniform.
Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations Mark Brand said in an email that the uniforms did not have anything to do with Pat Tillman, contrary to a report that said they were tribute uniforms to the former ASU and Arizona Cardinals player.
