The Diamondbacks 2018 roster features 13 arbitration eligible players. 12 of those players have already agreed to a deal, with RHP Shelby Miller being the only player not to agree to terms. This wouldn’t the first time that the current front office has gone to an arbitration hearing with Miller, as the two sides went to arbitration a year ago with the Diamondbacks winning that battle. Miller made 4 starts in 2017 before leaving his 4th start with a torn UCL and subsequent Tommy John surgery in May 2017. Miller’s camp filed at $4.9M and the Diamondbacks $4.
