PHOENIX -- The D-backs made a slight change to their rotation, flip-flopping Robbie Ray and Zack Godley.
With two off-days this week, the D-backs had the luxury of realigning the rotation. Godley will start Friday, and Ray moves to Saturday.
D-backs manager Torey Lovullo emphasized that the move was made, not based on an injury, but simply to maximize upcoming matchups.
"We just liked the way it looked, whether it be short-term or long-term, we just thought it was something we wanted to look at," Lovullo said.
