It’s a word Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo doesn’t like to throw around unless he’s really trying to make a point. He’s been using it quite often this season, though, when describing his baseball team, which is off to one of the better starts in franchise history entering a six-game road trip that begins Tuesday in Philadelphia.
When it comes to trust, Lovullo has a ton of it in the man at the top of his batting order – his unconventional leadoff hitter, David Peralta.
