For the Arizona Cardinals, the only news lately is bad news.
The team announced today that the injury that forced defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche onto injured reserve and will require surgery, is in fact an ACL tear.
That was always the fear when the news of an IR stint and surgery, but it makes the sting even worse knowing how important explosiveness is to Nkemdiche’s game.
HC Wilks said David Johnson (quad) did not practice today.
Wilks added Nkemdiche will have surgery on his ACL tomorrow.
