Head coach Jonathan Gannon announced on Tuesday that Jacoby Brissett would be the team’s starter for Week 10’s matchup on the road against the Seattle Seahawks, in what would be his fourth consecutive start in the absence of Kyler Murray.
After the team’s convincing 27–17 road win on Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys, Gannon was asked by reporters whether he would consider keeping Brissett as the starter when Murray was healthy.
“Nothing’s changed on that,” Gannon said. “That’s how I feel.”
The next morning, Gannon announced that Brissett would start the upcoming weekend, saying that Murray was “still getting healthy.
