In most states, hunting season doesn’t get into full swing until October. Not in Arizona, apparently, because Cardinals outside linebacker Markus Golden started “huntin’” when the season began Sept. 10.
In two games, Golden hasn’t bagged a quarterback. He’s barely missed getting two or three sacks, but in a way, he sees that as a good thing.
“I’m huntin’, man, I’m huntin’,” he said. “When you hunt like I hunt, you’re going to miss a few. I’ve been missing sacks since Mizzou (University of Missouri). If I could count the sacks I’ve missed, I would probably be legendary right now.
