Cardinals undecided if they will protest Trump's comments about NFL players

Cardinals players are undecided if they will protest comments made by President Donald Trump on Friday night that NFL owners should fire players who don't stand for the national anthem.

Coach Bruce Arians and his players met before practice Saturday morning to discuss the issue, and team President Michael Bidwill was available via conference call.

The Cardinals play the last game of this week's schedule on Monday night against the Cowboys. They will be watching Sunday’s games to see what their peers might do.

No Cardinals player has taken part in protests by sitting or kneeling during anthem over the last few years but such a protest is “the individual right of an American,” Arians said.
