Arizona Cardinals sign cornerback Marcus Williams to one-year contract

The Cardinals added a veteran cornerback on Thursday, signing Marcus Williams to a one-year contract.

Williams, 5-feet-11 and 196 pounds, is entering his fifth NFL season. He played three years for the Jets, who released him after five games last season.

He played 10 games with the Texans.

Williams, 27, entered the NFL in 2014 as an undrafted rookie out of North Dakota State.

In 2015, he had six interceptions for the Jets. Williams has played in 49 games in his career, starting 14 of them.
