Just one week ago, fans of the Arizona Cardinals received some unfortunate news. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury announced that the team’s defensive coordinator, Vance Joseph, will return next season. For some odd reason, the Cards braintrust feels that the architect of the NFL’s 32nd-ranked unit should be back for another campaign.
One way to cover up the assistant coach’s deficiencies would be to surround him with some talented defenders. Prospective free agent Jadeveon Clowney would look absolutely fantastic in an Arizona uniform. Anyone who watched the Seattle Seahawks edge rusher dominate versus the Philadelphia Eagles this past Sunday would have to agree with that statement.
