On Monday, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey and the 14 athletic directors which make up the conference, met to discuss the upcoming season.
Although a concrete decision was not made, the meeting was still a productive one according to Sankey.
“We had a productive meeting on Monday and engaged in discussions on a number of important issues that will contribute to critical decisions to be made in the weeks ahead,” said Sankey in a press release. “The ability to personally interact over the course of an entire day contributed to the productivity of the meeting.”
This was the first time since the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament was gathered in Nashville, where Sankey and the athletic directors held an in-person meeting.
