'Punk of a safety' Landon Collins gets under Detroit Lions tight end's skin

Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron was only too happy to catch a touchdown pass against the New York Giants on Monday night. Not only was it his first TD reception since the opening game of the 2016 season, it came before a crowd of family and friends at the Giants' MetLife Stadium from his hometown of Newark, New Jersey.

Yet he tossed the football straight up into the air after scoring, failing to take advantage of the NFL's relaxed rules on celebrations - all because of the Giants' "punk of a safety."

On the Detroit possession before Ebron's touchdown, New York strong safety Landon Collins had roughly deposited Ebron on the turf for no gain after the tight end had caught a tipped pass.
