After coming back to the Crimson Tide in 2019 to be its offensive coordinator, a mutual conversation has sparked between Steve Sarkisian and Mississippi State University.

Per the report, Sarkisian feels as though now is the time for him to step back into the head coaching ranks. He has learned a lot from his last two opportunities at the University of Washington (2009-13) and University of Southern California (2014-15), despite posting an overall record of 46-35 and having just five winning seasons.
