This is what Kalen DeBoer had in mind when he recruited Isaiah Horton to Alabama over the offseason.
Heading into the Iron Bowl, Horton had been a solid addition for the Crimson Tide. The Miami transfer led Alabama in receiving during its win at Georgia before adding a few key scores in wins at Missouri and against Tennessee.

The clutch receiver carried Alabama’s struggling offense, accounting for all three touchdowns in the Tide’s 27-20 win at Auburn. Horton recorded just 35 yards on his five catches.
