Former Alabama safety Mark Barron headed to first-ever Super Bowl

Head coach Sean Payton and the New Orleans Saints are sick to their stomachs following a loss to the Los Angeles Rams, which featured multiple calls that did not go to the Saints.

Despite the disappoint in a 26-23 overtime defeat at Mercedes-Benz Superdome, one of the first ambassadors of Together Assisting People under founder, Chris Rogers, is heading to his first-ever Super Bowl.

For Mark Barron, the former University of Alabama safety captured an NFC Championship and will represent the crimson and white in Atlanta for Super Bowl 53 as a member of the Rams.

A former first-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2012 NFL Draft, Barron has been with the Rams since 2014 and has become a stalwart at inside linebacker.
