Former Alabama cornerback Bradley Sylve has been signed by the New Orleans Saints to a spot on the NFL team's practice squad.
Herbie Teope, the Saints beat writer for the Times-Picayune, reported on Tuesday night that Sylve had joined the Saints. Sylve was among several players who worked out for New Orleans on Tuesday, which was a day off for the Saints' regulars.
Sylve is a native of Port Sulphur, Louisiana, and played high school football at South Plaquemines in Empire, Louisiana.
Sylve played at Alabama from 2012 through 2015 and was a member of two BCS national-championship teams.
