Last week our tabulations placed the Alabama Crimson Tide No. 1 in our second 2019 CFB Playoff Rankings. This week Ohio State regained the top spot, in a tie with the Crimson Tide.
The top three were as tight as they could be without being tied. Out of a possible 40 points, the Alabama Crimson Tide received 34 points, Ohio State 34 points and LSU has 33 points.
Farther back are Clemson and Oklahoma, with the last three far behind. With its loss to Illinois, Wisconsin dropped out of our top eight.
