It’s been a while since we last checked up on the Pirates’ minor league affiliates, so let’s see how they stand coming into this week.
AAA: Indianapolis Indians (20-22)
In Triple-A, Indianapolis is coming off a six-game split with Toledo, but all eyes are fixated on several individual performances. The biggest one is Ji Hwan Bae, who is hitting .367 with a 1.030 OPS after the weekend.
Bae’s collected at least one hit in each of his last four games and piled up four including a home run in Saturday’s 16-10 win over the Mud Hens.
