CINCINNATI --- Xavier University head tennis coach Doug Matthews announced the signing of Kaitlin Ruether from Rockledge High School in Rockledge, Fla. Ruether, listed as a four-star recruit on Tennisrecruiting.net, has been ranked as high as No. 150 nationally in 2016.
Ruether finished as the FHSAA Class 2A Girls State Runner-up in singles as a junior. In addition to the nation rankings, Ruether earned rankings of No. 31 in Florida and No. 51 in the Southeast.
"Kaitlin is a great fit for our program," said Matthews. "She has excelled on the tennis court as well as in the classroom.
