Report: Kanter pulling out of NBA Draft, will play at Xavier

Transfer prospect Kareem Kanter will reportedly suit up for Chris Mack's Xavier Musketeers in 2017-18.

Kanter, a 6-foot-10 graduate transfer out of Wisconsin-Green Bay, committed in April to both Xavier and the pre-NBA Draft process. With the Wednesday deadline to stay in or withdraw from the draft approaching, Kanter has decided to return to the college ranks for the coming season, according to ESPN college basketball reporter Jeff Goodman.

Kanter averaged 11.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game at Green Bay last season. He is the younger brother of Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter.
