INDIANAPOLIS — There's no time for Xavier men's basketball to dwell on its recent stumbles at Villanova and Butler.
The Musketeers (13-4, 3-2 Big East) on Monday will close out a gauntlet stretch of three games in six days against Big East teams ranked in the Associated Press top 12. The Creighton University Bluejays (17-1, 4-1 Big East) visit Cintas Center on Monday for a scheduled 2 p.m. game.
As of Sunday, Xavier and Creighton were ranked No. 15 and No. 8, respectively.
For Xavier, the contest comes less than 48 hours after its road loss to the Butler Bulldogs.
