University of Wyoming senior golfer Ryan Wallen was tied for second after the opening round of the Mountain West Championship on Friday in Tucson, Arizona.
Wallen made seven birdies and finished with a 5-under 67, leaving him tied with Boise State's Bryan Humphreys just one stroke back of UNLV's John Oda.
