Seniors Audra DeStefano and Scott Carter will represent the University of Wyoming when the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships begin Wednesday in Eugene, Oregon.
DeStefano (Gillette) will compete in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Thursday after finishing 12th at the NCAA West Preliminary two weeks ago.
The four-time All-Mountain West performer holds the school record in the event with a time of 10 minutes, 7.35 seconds.
Carter placed seventh in the triple jump at the NCAA West Preliminary. He enters the NCAA Championships with a season-best mark of 53 feet, 4.25 inches. The triple jump competition is Friday.
