The University of Wyoming wrestling team handed out its team awards over the weekend at its annual banquet.
Junior Bryce Meredith, who finished fourth at the NCAA Championships, was the winner of the Everett Lantz Most Outstanding Wrestler award. Meredith finished 32-8 on the season and earned all-America status for the seconnd consecutive year.
Senior Drew Templeman received the Joe Dowler Cowboy Up award while redshirt-sophomore Branson Ashworth took home the Joe McDaniel Most Improved Wrestler honors. Both Templeman and Ashworth qualified for the NCAA Championships.
