Wyoming soccer team loses season opener to Baylor in overtime

The University of Wyoming soccer team dropped its season opener Sunday, losing 2-1 in overtime to Baylor in Waco, Texas.

The Bears (2-0) controlled most of the action against the Cowgirls as they held advantages in shots (27-5), shots on goal (9-4) and corner kicks (7-0).

Baylor opened the scoring in the 16th minute when Jackie Crowther netted a goal off an assist from Aline De Lima. UW tied it at the 22-minute mark when redshirt junior Brittney Stark scored her first goal as a Cowgirl.

The Bears netted the game-winner in the 100th minute when De Lima assisted on a goal by Ally Henderson.
