Former University of Wyoming standout Mason Finley advanced to the discus finals at the IAAF World Championships on Friday in London.
Finley was fourth in Group A and sixth overall with a throw of 64.76 meters (212 feet, 5.5 inches). The Top 12 competitors qualified for Saturday's final.
Sweden's Daniel Stahl had the best throw of the day with a mark of 67.64 meters (almost 222 feet).
