The University of Wyoming volleyball team was picked to finish fourth in the Mountain West this season by the league's coaches.
The poll, which was released Wednesday, has defending MW champion Colorado State at the top with 98 votes, followed by Boise State with 93. San Diego State is third with 79 and the Cowgirls received 67 votes.
Following UW is Nevada (57 votes), Utah State (51), UNLV (42), San Jose State (38), New Mexico (37), Fresno State (29) and Air Force (14).
The Cowgirls (18-13 last season) return nine letterwinners, including junior Reed Copeland, the 2015 MW Freshman of the Year, and sophomore Madi Fields.
