Sophomore Jerayah Davis broke the Wyoming school record in the women’s 100 meters and senior Jordan Charles tied the UW record in the men’s 110 meter hurdles at the Jack Rose Track in Long Beach, California.
The Cowboys scored 78 points, good for first in a field of 24 teams, while the women recorded 51.5 points to take fifth out of 24 teams.
“It was great for Jerayah to be the fastest Cowgirl to ever run the 100 meters,” head coach Bryan Berryhill said. “I’m just really proud of her and the progress she’s made in the two years she’s been at Wyoming.
