The Cowboys men’s basketball team fought back from a 10-point deficit with 10 minutes left in the game, but fell short of completing the comeback falling 78-73 to Colorado State on Feb. 14 in the Arena-Auditorium.

Guard Justin James led the Pokes with 23 points on the evening, good for his seventh 20-point game of the season. Forward Alan Herndon recorded his third double-double of the season with 15 points and a career high 12 rebounds.

“I thought the second half our players did a better job of executing the game plan,” head coach Allen Edwards said.
